Small actions can make a meaningful difference when a community comes together.

On 26 September 2026, Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu took part in the Program Pembersihan Hari Cuci Malaysia (HCM) Peringkat Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya 2026, held around Pasar Moden SS15 and the surrounding commercial area in Subang Jaya. The programme ran from 7.00am to 11.30am and brought participants together for a morning focused on cleanliness, waste awareness and environmental responsibility.

The programme included a community clean-up, recycling activities, waste segregation, up-cycling activities, recycling quizzes and environmental awareness exhibitions. As part of the official launch, a waste-separation machine by Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu was also featured alongside other symbolic activities at Pasar Moden SS15.

The morning continued with the weighing and segregation of collected waste by category, followed by a group photo session with the collected materials before the programme concluded.
