The sambal is good, maybe the superstar of the dish, a little (a little bit spicy). while the kacang (groundnut) and ikan bilis (anchovies) is a spoonfuls (banyak). the nasi lemak is fluffy and tasty where you can feel the lemak / santan. The thigh fried chicken (ayam berempah) is succulent, crispy and hot fresh from the pot."

"Visited Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu around Sri Hartamas and I’m pretty sceptical when it comes to sambal Nasi Lemak. It’s tough to find a good one. Usually, it’s either runny, undercooked, too sweet, or just packed with onions. But this place nailed it! The sambal was so good and the chicken was delicious too. Definitely worth a try."
